Doing my periodic system inspections I noticed that both Blu-ray Converter and and Convert2XVideo Ultimate show both their latest installation icons and the prior version icons. Yes, they point to the same folder and Yes, the programs that runs are the latest. I am quite certain if I were to click uninstall on each older one, no surprise latest (the ones installed) would be gone. I guess I could search where in the registry, the key or entry to delete then refresh and the old ones would be gone w/o having to reinstall those programs.
So, I will conclude you guys and gals inadvertently removed or forgot to include code to do a complete clean when we click to install those updates. This has not happened with prior updates and not with CRT2DVD as you can see in the attachment.

Cougar II,
I guess you did answer the subject as I wrote it but not the core question. How to remove the old version icon points to the only / latest installation WITHOUT having it get removed then having to reinstall it.
Edit: Would you believe CCleaner has such a feature. See attachment
