I would like to ask about compatibility with Slimjet browser.
Until May 20 VSO Downloader worked OK with Slimjet browser,
when streaming video file opened in Slimjet, it was recognized by
VSO downloader. Now on May 21 - VSO downloader does not
recognize videos, opened on Slimjet browser any more.
Slimjet is fast and convenient browser, based on Chromium.
I have updated up to Slimjet Version 26.0.8.0
(based on Chromium 80.0.3987.87)

The same VSO Downloader still works correctly,
recognizes automatically opened videos and downloads them
when working with another browser -

Google Chrome - Version 83.0.4103.61 (Official Build) (64-bit)

My Op system is Windows 10 Pro 64bit version 1909
and there was a new update in night between 20 and 21 May.
After that update downloaded and istalled all that my PC
(was an obligatory restart required!) all tha mess happened.
May be the new Windows 10 update is reason, why VSO
Downloader now refuses to work together with newest version of Slimjet.
But it still works with Google Chrome and Opera

Problem SOLVED!!!
Downgraded Slimjet back to version 25.0.10.0 (Chromium 78.0.3904.63) 64bit and Hurray!
With that (older version) VSO Downloader works again
So - sometimes older is better!!!

I investigated the VSO Downloader log by startup - and looks like it is a missing driver - WinPcap (libpcap) driver

Re-installed VSO downloader > now both drivers are available and working -
full log file in attachment -
but VSO downloader does not recognize videos opened in Slimjet.
Works good with Firefox, Chrome and Opera.

Thanks to moderator JJ I found that - I was initiating this download failure case - myself...

That is the way to capture streams, all traffic has to go thru the downloader.
Works just fine here.

I checked my Slimjet browser proxy settings > it was set to > Automatic Detect.
After I set it to > Use System Proxy ....

VSO Downloader started to download videos on Slimjet Browser!!! Problem solved!
But it could be useful to explain that > Use System Proxy requirement somewhere in usage note!

Just for comparison - VSO Downloader still worked with browsers Firefox, Chrome and OPera - set for Auto Detect...

For information, the needed 'use system proxy' is a global solution we found in order to improve the detection of HTTPS.
It works for all platforms (unlike driver solution) and needed a limited amount of work to implement.
