Hello,
I noticed that the option "Convert DTS to AC-3 (better compatibility)" in the audio settings menu doesn't have any effect. As my AV receiver supports DTS I didn't activate this checkbox. So it normally has to apply DTS if in the source is given.
But CxHD (currently used version is 3.0.0.73) does always convert DTS to AC-3 - I've checked this with several files with given DTS tracks.
This "problem" is also given in CxD (currently used version is 7.0.0.73).
Clean re-installs of both hasn't brought any changes.
Has anybody the same problem? And is there any hint to solve it?

Hello,
ConvertXToDVD does support DTS in the following manner:
if your original video has a dts encoded track compatible with mpeg2 format (DTS-HD if i'm right) ConvertXToDVD copy the original track
if your original video has a dts encoded track incompatible with MPEG2 (your track is surely DTS-HD) the DTS track is converted to regular AC3.
Because of patents on DTS we can't have other strategy.
