Development canceled on ConvertXtoHD?

Post by Friend1982 »

Hello,

will ConvertXtoHD be further developed or has development been discontinued?

The latest version is 3.0.0.74 from 2020 (so already two years old) and very buggy (Folder" problem) just like version 3.0.0.73 (memory leak bug).

For me it's actually the best all-in-one solution but because of the bugs it's not really usable at the moment.

VSO only has 2 developers, and has created VSO Downloader v6 (64 bits) from scratch !
They are still working on it to make it rock solid !

Meanwhile or very soon (keep in mind, I do NOT work for VSO) so assuming the next step is to create a brand new conversation engine (64 bits) with latest version of ffmpeg most likely…

Once the NEW engine is finished and solid, THEN we should see work on probably VSO ConvertToVideo v3 (64 bits) probably (I assume) since it outputs several output formats, and will again help VSO make their engine solid again !

This WILL take time, so we will need to be patient…

VSO, is my crystal ball right ? 😆
