I hope someone can help me, I have been pulling out my hair these past few days trying to trouble shoot and messing up so many discs. But I am trying to understand how I can fix the current issue, to prevent it from occuring again.

My 2 cents it to invest and use VERBATIM media, they are the best.
The ones with AZO die !!!
RITEK flavored media id are OK but not the best.

Taiyo Yuden are the best: TYG02 or TYG03 media id are the best …

You did burn at x4.0 that is good, burning too fast may also cause issues, good choice !

I am guessing from the log provided that your problem is the burns don't complete when the output in written to the disc? As was stated, try using Verbatim medium. And, as was said, get the AZO media. NOT the Life Series you find in brick and mortar stores as those are CMC, which are actually worse than Ritek. You want the DataLife Plus series, which is the AZO media, and can only be found, usually, in online stores.

Can you swop the burner for another one to trouble shoot where the issue occurs?
Is it burner, media, app or PC?
For me I have never had any issues with cheap +r or -r dvd

Suggest first try clean reinstall of the app. And use DVDRW disks to test it.

For me I just clean reinstall of version 7.0.0. 69 as latest beta update this week from 7.0.0.73 to 7.0.0.74 kept crashing
