Hello, I am just finally coming back after getting my account enabled (thank you). I have tried over the past few weeks to update the engine for VSO Downloader 6.0.0.107, but I always get an error that complains about internet not being up, but I am in fact connected. I have a screenshot, but looks only a link can post. I have tried to re-install, but the error remains the same.

The message states:

"There was an error during the update operation. See below

Error during download phase "Erreur d'envoi des données : (12175) A security error occurred". Maybe your internet connection is gone.
Update process has failed."

I have re-installed as stated as administrator.

With the latest v6.0.0.7 installer, try a frech (Clean) install by selecting
[x] Delete installation folder
Select ALL options

See if this clears things up.

Also ensure your antivirus software is not blocking the engine updater etc…

I tried to re-install with the recommendations (having un-installed previous versions first), and I am met with an error different from before:

(using installed 6.0.0.70)

'Problem missing binaries: update server may be down. Please retry later."

I have a good internet connection, and temporarily (10 min) disabled the anti-virus during the install (also tried with a temporary disable of the firewall.

ps. I may try an earlier version on the download list. (I tried a few others, always the same error).

There was effectively a problem with our server yesterday. Today all works, normally.

Hello, just wanted to report back that I get the same errors, even with the server being fixed. AV temp off, Firewall temp off, installed as Admin, ran as Admin, had re-installed with clearing - out settings. Computer had already been rebooted a few times. At some point, I may try this on another computer, just not sure when. Merci.

Have all the latest Windows update ?
This is bizarre, i never encountered any issues like this

Is the VSO Remover tool still exists & supports Downloader ?

I would suggest a 100% clean off this machine, everything, all traces in the registry etc…

Merci, I have sent the email as suggested with the screenshots of license and the errors. I have been working on cleaning out the OS hard drive (Win10 Pro 21H2) as I may try to do a fresh install (re-install) and see if 'new' helps, but this may take me some time.

This one can be closed out.... I re-installed windows, and then everything else, and of course, now working. A bit of a hassle to go that far, but it was necessary. Merci!

In my desktop computer (Windows 10 Pro 64), today after starting VSO Downloader 6 - the new version was available for download.
After downloading updates - version 6.0.0.111 and language pack - VSO downloader 6 was successfully upgraded to version 6.0.0.111 ...
No errors...
