ConvertXtoHD 3.0.0.77
Trying to run after VSO install gives this message
Quote (including forward slash):
“A critical working folder cannot be accessed or is not writable. This software cannot operate without write access to standard folder locations, such as AppData\VSO or ProgramData/VSO.
You may need to Uninstall/reinstall the software to write access to these folders.
Please also check the anti-virus is not preventing...”
Then the program closes.

New W11 install.
No Anti-virus running.
Tried reinstalling. None works. Very frustrated. Folders created by intaller have correct permissions.
Tried rebooting
Very frustrated. Nothing works
Please help. I am seeing many people mentioning this problem, but not on this forum.
Installation options:
Clean registry base option: tried both on and off
Delete installation files from previous version : Tried On and off
Delete cache files : Tried on and off

I dont have Windows 11 and do not use toHD converter.
Have you “I think it’s <SHIFT>-<Right-Click> Install as Administrator ?
VSO software usually all i stall using your user account, no need to elevate admin rights usually….
I just re-read your message..
So i does install 100% without errors ?
Try to RUN it as Administrator then, this seems very weird
