Lastest Version 7.5.0.129 Crashes

Hi

I was wondering what is up this version? It worked about a half dozen times with no problem, yet now when I try another project only changing what I want it starts up fine but not even 2 seconds it just stops the conversion and closes. I tried the previous non 64 bit version which thankful I did not uninstall and works great with no problem. Is there a reason I should reinstall the 64 bit and remove the 7.0.0.83 and be without having one that works? I have many more projects to do and do not want to have a working version that will work.

Thoughts?

Appreciate any help I can get as a GOLD member I am open to any solutions you can help me.

Thanks

Good afternoon,

When you say another project, are you manually adding files etc... or actually loading an old PROJECT.XtoDVD file ?
If a project was done with the 32 bits with an very old revision, VSO mentioned Projects gas changed over time.
Maybe it just hated THIS specific project ?

As a beta tester, I have not see this issue at all.

BTW Build 130 is out, I guess you have upgraded already ! :)

Just downloaded 7.5.0.130 and trying it now all seems to be working. Just find it odd that runs slower than the old 32 bit versions.

By projects me in setting up DVDs I wish to burn.

Please confirm you are loading PROJECT FILES !!!

If you are, there is an open bug with VSO where speed drastically drops if you load files, do a change in the settings, then apply all.

**OR**

Load projects !

Load the same files manually, with Hardware Acceleration, I get 15fps to 17fps with the bug, then with the same videos hit 100-115fps without the bug ;)

Happy you noticed it, if you advise you are loading projects I will definitely add your comments to the bug, this needs to get fixed :) :) :)

If you have access to the bug site --> https://bugs.vso-software.fr/view.php?id=14492

In the settings, go to the Hardware Acceleration settings...

Enable it ;)

Click on the download package
Run all tests ;)

This will use your video card acceleration all the ones it supports !

But still slow as hell if you load from a PROJECT.XtoDVD

robertg_s,

Another beta tester ran the 32 bits & the 64 bits on the same machine…

Keep in mind they both share some registry keys, so change in 1 will / should change in the other, so I heard…

To be honest, so sorry you are having weird issues, with the 64 bits, there should be no need to keep the 32 bits (my personal opinion).

Looks the same, 100% new everything inside  :D

There are still a few oddities here and there in the 64 bit version that aren't in the 32 bit one. So, for instance, I run both side by side. Since the 64 bit version is still in beta, I use the 32 bit version for any "final" DVD projects and I use the 64 bit version for all other projects that are "temporary" so I can keep testing it.
